Dubai - Huge tailbacks on Dubai-Sharjah roads on Wednesday morning

A minibus overturned in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday morning causing traffic delays in the emirate.
According to a tweet by the Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport, the bus overturned on Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street at start of ramp towards Musaffah.
A few minutes later, the department tweeted that although the road had been cleared, delays remained.

Motorists were cautioned to be wary of congestion on the road:
Meanwhile, in Dubai, it was the usual morning rush on Dubai-Sharjah roads, including Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Road and E11.
According to Google Maps' live traffic report, slow moving traffic was observed on E11 - starting from Al Wahda Street around Al Taawun area to Al Qiyadah Metro station.
Huge tailbacks were reported on SMBZ road.

Motorists are advised to take alternate routes where possible.
