The UAE residents are bracing for hotter days during the weekend with temperatures expected to touch 50 degrees, according to weather forecast.
Temperatures in the UAE will hover around 49 degrees and mark the 'end of 40s' in the land area, said the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.
According to forecasters, there is a thermal low over southern area of the country causing the blowing of the warm southerly wind, and leading to increase in temperature during day time. As a result, it will be 'hot to very hot' and hazy at times.
Light to moderate winds in general during day time, freshening at times causing dust to blow and low visibility in some exposed areas.
The relative humidity is likely to increase by night and early morning over some western coastal areas. Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and rough at times in Oman sea.
