Men on trial in Ajman for trying to sell woman for Dh4,000

Ajman - The woman has also been accused for committing fornication.

Ajman criminal court is investigating a case of a Bangladeshi woman who was sold by two of her compatriots for Dh4,000 to another person.
The two accused were also involved in a sexual relationship with the victim, who was also accused for committing fornication.
According to Ajman Police, a CID official arrested the two accused red-handed while trying to sell the woman near Al Rashidiya Park.
The second accused confessed that he decided to accompany the first accused to divide the cash. The first accused told the police that he was introduced to the woman by someone else who used her in prostitution.
The woman also confessed to having sex with the two accused for Dh60, each.
The police record said that the two accused exploited the woman's urgent need for cash and deceived her by trying to sell her without her knowledge.
