A drug smuggler was nabbed with 167 capsules of narcotics in his guts by the Ras Al Khaimah Police.
Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of the RAK Police, on Sunday said after getting information, the anti-narcotics department started collecting and verifying evidence.
Col Adnan Ali Al Zaabi, director of the anti-narcotics department, RAK Police, said they put the suspect under strict surveillance and tracked him down until he was arrested with the drugs in his stomach.
The police urged parents to keep an eye on their children and protect them against drugs. It's not only the responsibility of the law enforcement bodies to curb drugs, but of all members of the society, the police officials said.
