The Dubai Police have rescued a youth after his jet ski crashed into some rocks off Al Mamzar Beach. The police described the youth's injuries as "moderate" and said he had to be hospitalised. They did not reveal his age or nationality.
Posting a video of the rescue operation on their social media channels on Tuesday, the police called on beach-goers to follow safety guidelines and avoid speeding while in the water.
Colonel Obaid bin Hodhaiba, deputy director of ports police, said an all-female rescue patrol helped in carrying out the operation.
