The Health Education Department of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah has announced the 2017 edition of its health and tourism campaign called 'Let's Walk'.
The annual campaign aims to promote a culture of walking and active lifestyle in the summer season, and highlight Sharjah's efforts in promoting a healthy lifestyle in all its tourism attractions. The campaign also aims to spread awareness around healthy behaviours.
'Tourism and Health' is the first of its kind digital campaign linking tourism to healthy habits in the world. The campaign was highlighted at the Innovation Arabia Conference at Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, Dubai, in 2015. 
The campaign attracted high interaction on social media last year, with the special campaign hash-tag achieving over 3 million impressions inside the UAE and abroad.
