Indian actor Mohanlal underwent a surgery in his right hand at a hospital in Dubai.
"I had an issue with my right hand and chose to get the treatment done at Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery in Dubai," the actor said in a statement to Khaleej Times. "I thank surgeon Dr Bhuvaneshwar Machani for taking care of my hand with his expertise."
Mohanlal has been seen with a bandaged hand for a while now, photos of which had gone viral on social media.
Dr Machani also said that Mohanlal has sustained an injury to the hand. "The surgery was successfully undertaken at the VPS Healthcare's Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery, Hand and Upper Limb Unit. We expect him to recover fully soon."
