The day in UAE started on a foggy note as the weather department reported about fog over Liwa, Madinat Zayed and other areas. Motorists need to be careful while driving as the fog could lead to poor visibility of less than 1000 metres.
For today's weather update, the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said the day will continue to be 'hot to very hot in general' and partly cloudy at times.
The amount of clouds will increase over the eastern and some southern areas by afternoon, with a chance of convective clouds and may be associated with rainfall. Residents should brace themselves for blowing dust/sand as moderate winds could blow during the daytime.

The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and tomorrow early morning over the coastal and some internal areas, with a probability of fog formation.
Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and moderate in Oman sea.
The temperature currently is 35°C and will hover around 49 to 50°C during the day in UAE.
