The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received condolences from Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of emirates Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi of Ras Al Khaimah, Shaikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla of Umm Al Quwain and Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman on the death of Shaikha Maitha bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan.
The Arab Inter-parliamentary Union (AIPU) condemned as “provocative” the recent visit by top Iranian officials to the UAE’s Abu Mousa Island.
