Parking in the emirate of Dubai will be free on Saturday, April 14, on account of the holiday for Isra Wal Miraj, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said as it announced changes to the working hours of all its services for that day.
Paid parking will be reactivated on Sunday, April 15.
Yousef Al Rida, CEO of Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector, RTA, said

"All customers' happiness centres will be closed during Al Isra Wal Miraj holiday corresponding to Saturday, April 14t 2018. All paid parking zones will be free across the emirate during the holiday except for the multi-level parking lots. Paid parking fees will be reactivated on Sunday, April 15." 

The working hours of the Dubai Metro during the holiday will be as follows:
On Saturday, April 14th, the Metro Red Line stations will operate from 5:00 am to 00:00 am (midnight), and the Green Line stations will operate from 5:30 am to 00:00 am (midnight).
The Dubai Tram will be in service on Saturday from 6:00 am to 01:00 am (of the following day).
The service time of public buses during the holiday will be as follows:
Main Bus Stations such as Gold Souq will operate from 4:25am to 12:57am (past midnight). Al Ghubaiba Station will be in service from 4:26am to 12:45 (past midnight).
Sub-stations, such as Satwa, will start from 4:57am to 11:05pm except for Route C01, which operates, around-the-clock. Al Qusais Station will run bus service from 4:30am to 12:12 (past midnight), and Al Quoz Industrial Station will be in operation from 5:02am to 11:35pm.
Jebel Ali Station will operate from 5:00am and continue up to 11:22 pm.
Metro feeder bus service will operate as follows:
Metro feeder bus stations at Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Burj Khalifa, Abu Hail, and Etisalat will be in service from 5:00 am to 01:10 am (of the following day). The timing of all feeder bus service will be synchronised with the timing of the metro journeys.
Inter-City bus service will operate as follows:
Main stations, such as Al Ghubaiba, will be operating around the clock to Sharjah (Jubail), and Abu Dhabi service will be running from 4:40am up to 1:00am (of the following day).
Substations, such as Union Square, will be in service from 4:35am up to 12:30am (past midnight). Al Sabkha Station will run from 6:30am until 00:00 (midnight), and Deira City Centre Station will be operating from 6:07am until 11:06pm. Karama Station will run bus service from 6:10am until 10:16pm and Al Ahli Club Station will run from 5:55am to 10:15pm. 
External Stations, such as Sharjah's Al Taawun, will run from 5:30 am until 10:00pm and Fujairah Station will operate from 05:15 am until 09:30 pm. Ajman Station will open from 4:35am until 11:30pm and Hatta Station will be in operation from 5:30am until 9:30pm.
Marine transit modes will operate during the holiday as follows:
The Water Bus will run at Marina Stations (Marina Mall, Marina Walk, Marina Terrace, Marina Promenade) from 12:00 at noon up to 12:00 midnight. Dubai Ferry will be calling at Ghubaiba and Marina Stations at 11:00 am, 1:00pm, 03:00pm, 5:00 pm and 6:30pm.
The Ferry will operate from Al Jaddaf Station to Dubai Water Canal Station at 12:00 at noon, and 5:30pm, and from Dubai Water Canal Station to Al Jaddaf Station at 2:05 at noon and 7:35pm. The Water Taxi will operate from 9:00am until 10pm.
Abra timing during the holiday will be as follows:
Traditional Abra will operate in Dubai Creek Stations (Ghubaiba, Baniyas, Dubai Old Souq and Al Seef) on Saturday, April 14 from 10:00am until 12:00 midnight. At the Sheikh Zayed Road Station, abras will operate from 4:00 pm to 11:30pm. The Electric Abra will operate from Al Qasr Hotel Station to Dubai Mall from 12:00 at noon up to 11:30pm, and at Burj Plaza Station from 12:00 at noon up to 11:30pm.
Abra at Al Mamzar will start from 2:00pm until 12:00 midnight, at Burj Khalifa Station from 6:00pm up to 11:00pm. The Air-conditioned at Al Jaddaf, Dubai Festival City will operate from 7:00am to 12:00 midnight.
All centres affiliated to service providers will be closed on Saturday, April14," said the CEO of Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector, RTA.
