The Department of Transport (DoT) in Abu Dhabi announced that people may park their cars for free on surface public parking bays during the days of Eid Al Fitr, starting from Thursday, July 16.
In the same context, the DoT called upon its customers not to park their vehicles in prohibited areas and to not block vehicles or traffic flow. The DoT has also urged the public to adhere to the regulations regarding the resident permit parking bays from 9 PM to 8 AM.
DoT also stated that its HQ Customer Care Center along with its customer care centers in Central Market (Al Souq Al Markazi), Al Muroor Street, Al Falah, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abu Dhabi Commercial Properties (ADCP) and Etisalat, will be closed as of Thursday 16 July 2015 - 29 Ramadan 1436H - to 3 Shawwal 1436H (three days after Eid).
The DoT Customer Care Centers will resume work on 4 Shawwal 1436H (four days after Eid).
