Former FNC speaker's book released in English

The Sharjah Book Authority (SBA) has released the English version of the book Ebdaat Emiratiyah (Emirati creative works) by Emirati writer Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, former speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC).
The release of the English version of Ebdaat Emiratiyah comes as part of the SBA's efforts to enrich the global library with the UAE's outstanding literary works.
Ahmed bin Rakkad Al Ameri, Chairman of the SBA, said: "The release of the Emirati Creative Works follows the vision of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, who always seeks to promote UAE's culture and literature.
It also stems from our strong belief in the important role of books in bringing people together, enhancing dialogue among people of different countries, and promoting the values of tolerance and understanding."
