Because of potential travel disruptions caused by winter storm Stella on the east coast of the United States, a number of Emirates airline flights scheduled for Tuesday rescheduled or cancelled.
In a statement, an Emirates spokesperson noted that passengers departing or arriving at destinations in the US during the storm should check their flight status, with affected passengers being rebooked on alternate flights.
Among the cancelled flights were those to and from New York City's JFK Airport, as well as between Dubai and Boston and Athens to Newark.
Additionally, other flights were delayed between Dubai and Washington DC, and between Milan and Dubai and New York's JFK.
