A massive fire that broke out on Monday morning in Dubai’s Al Quoz has been brought under control. According to the Dubai Civil Defence, the blaze at a warehouse was reported at 9.12am.
A team of firemen reached the spot in under six minutes. They found the fire was raging on at the warehouse with “flammable materials”. Commuters reported seeing black clouds of thick smoke billowing into the sky.
Describing the intensity of the blaze as “moderate”, the civil defence said it was brought under control at 9.47am. By around 10am, cooling operations had commenced, with authorities saying the “site would be handed over to relevant authorities after”.
