Two Indian men admitted in the Court of First Instance on Monday the charge of dumping the body of a compatriot friend who died of heroin overdose.
Prosecutors accuse the two men, both employees aged 22, of dumping their friend's body in a remote location in Al Aweer.
They are also charged with using drugs. They pleaded guilty to all charges in the Court of First Instance. The case dates back to January 15 and was reported to Al Rashidiya police station.
The body was discovered under a tree off Al Aweer road.
"I was informed that the body was found in a way suggesting foul play," a police sergeant told the investigators. "We learned he worked as a driver for a transport company. On the night he died he was with four other Indians.
The two defendants had morphine in their system at the time of their arrest according to the Crime Lab report.
