With the increasing numbers of positive cases, the DSC has urged all clubs, academies and sports and training centres in Dubai to comply with the protocols and safety guidelines. Authorities stressed that inspection visits will be further intensified to ensure establishments comply with all Covid-19 safety protocols.
Months after the lockdown when sports facilities and other establishments were allowed to reopen, strict safety rules were issued by the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management, Dubai, along with other relevant authorities.
Under the set guidelines, all facilities and business establishments are supposed to maintain required standards of hygiene and sanitization, ensure the 2-meter safe distancing rule is respected at all times, adhere to wearing face masks, checking temperature of visitors, providing sanitisers, etc.
Besides, the facilities are required to display public announcements and awareness signages, maintain adequate records of their members, including names, telephone numbers and visit dates in order to assist in case contact tracing is needed to be done.
