Malls, shops and public spaces across the country remained closed on Wednesday. In line with the preventive measures announced by the authorities to fight the spread of Covid-19, Dubai Economy directed commercial establishments to close down for two weeks. Here is a list of what's open and what's not.

What's open?
> Grocery stores
> Supermarkets
> Cooperative societies
> Pharmacies
> Bakeries
> Car workshops
> Laundries
> Technical and electrical services providers
> Banks and exchange houses
> Clinics

What's closed?
> Commercial outlets in markets, on streets and shopping malls
> Fish, meat and vegetable markets (except wholesalers)
> Shisha cafes
> Gyms and fitness centres
> Theme parks
> Amusement centres and electronic games outlets
> Cinemas
> Men's and women's salons
> Massage parlours and spas

Special cases
> Eateries are closed, but can home-deliver food. Residents can also opt for takeaways
> Eateries inside hotels and hotel apartments can serve their guests and home-deliver food.
