In the wake of the tragedy in Kerala's Kozhikode airport, Air India Express has reopened its office in Abu Dhabi.
A helpline is set up with a staff dedicated to attend phone calls and support the immediate family members of the affected passengers with needed information.
"Normal operations have not resumed. We are only attending phone calls to assist family members," a staff of Arabian Travel Agency - the general sales agent for Air India Express - said over the phone.
The staff said air ticket bookings for Vande Bharat Mission repatriation flights will continue to be offered from the India Social and Cultural Centre (ISC).
It was from July 9 that the travel agency had temporarily moved operations to the ISC because of an unmanageable crowd at its office for repatriation flights.
Family members of affected passengers in the tragedy can call helpline number 02-6313789.
