A team from Abu Dhabi Police visited the children who were injured in two school bus-car collisions on Wednesday.
The Abu Dhabi Police reported that nine children were injured in two separate accidents involving school buses in Abu Dhabi. In the first incident, six children were injured after the school bus they were travelling in crashed into another vehicle near the Union Bank on Al Reem Island. In the second incident, three Emirati kids have sustained injuries after their bus collided with a car near Al Raha Beach. Two other women were also injured.

All the injured students were taken to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City where they are receiving treatment.
On Thursday afternoon, Brigadier General Suhail Al Khaili, Director of Central Operations Section at Abu Dhabi Police together with Brigadier General Ahmed Al Shehhi, Deputy Director of the Section and other officers visited the hospital to check on the conditions of the children.
Al Khaili has expressed his deep regret over the two incidents and wished all the injured a quick recovery.

The officer also praised the efforts of the police patrol officers and the ambulance teams for their rapid response, rescuing the children and assisting the wounded persons.
Al Khaili has stressed the keenness of the Abu Dhabi Police on promoting safety on the roads and spreading traffic safety awareness among drivers.
Police has urged motorists to abide by traffic rules and regulations including complying with the speed limits on various roads, avoid tailgating and wear seatbelts to avoid such painful incidents.
