The tourist police department of the investigations directorate found the woman had forgotten her phone in a taxi. The phone was found in the security department of a mall.
Brigadier-General Imran Ahmed Al Mazroui, director of the criminal investigation department, said the tourist had reported about the lost phone before she left to Italy.
Brigadier Mohammed Suhail Al Rashdi, director of the criminal security sector, said that ensuring safety, security and happiness of community members, visitors and tourists were the duty of the police.
