Abu Dhabi Police surprise Italian tourist, home-deliver her lost phone
Abu Dhabi - She thanked the police in a video message.
The dedication of the UAE's law enforcement agency delighted the Italian woman. "Thank you Abu Dhabi Police to find and send me the phone that I lost in Abu Dhabi. You are wonderful people. And I hope to return and see you soon. Thank you so much," she said in a video message to the police.

The tourist police department of the investigations directorate found the woman had forgotten her phone in a taxi. The phone was found in the security department of a mall.
Brigadier-General Imran Ahmed Al Mazroui, director of the criminal investigation department, said the tourist had reported about the lost phone before she left to Italy.
Brigadier Mohammed Suhail Al Rashdi, director of the criminal security sector, said that ensuring safety, security and happiness of community members, visitors and tourists were the duty of the police.
