A 39-year-old Emirati died after his 4WD vehicle crashed into a truck in Sharjah's Al Dhaid on Tuesday evening. Such was the impact of the crash that the vehicle got entangled beneath the truck.
According to the police, the man was driving on a trucks-only lane when he crashed. On being notified about the accident, the police dispatched patrols and paramedics to the site. However, the motorist had died on the spot.
The police said speeding and inattentive driving were to blame for the accident. According to a report issued by Al Dhaid Hospital, the man died due to internal bleeding in the brain.
