A female traveller who realised she had lost her $150,000 diamond ring while travelling to Dubai for a layover has had it safely returned to her.
She had flown out from Bangkok and was on her way to France, as reported by Al Khaleej.
While shopping in Dubai Airport's Duty Free section, she suddenly remembered that she had forgotten her ring in the rear seat pocket of her business class seat in the previous plane.
When she informed Dubai Police, they tried to find her ring before her next flight took off but could not.
Seeing that she was in tears and in a state of complete shock, the police told her to go on her flight and they would continue their search for the missing ring.
When she returned from her trip and again stopped in Dubai, the guards in Airport Terminal 3 greeted her with the lost ring, as related by Major General Al-Tayyar Ahmed Mohammed Bin Thani, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of Ports Affairs.
