Abu Dhabi – The Traffic and Patrols Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police announced that traffic movement will be shifted near Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) area. The road will be closed in both directions on Khaleej Al Arabi tomorrow, on Sunday, February 22. Motorists have been urged to find alternative routes for the International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2015) being held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, which runs from February 22 to 26 .
The Traffic and Patrols Directorate announced that traffic will temporarily be shifted along Khaleej Al Arabi Street and the routes leading up to ADNEC from 10:00am to midday on Sunday. The road will be closed in both directions on Khaleej Al Arabi Street and stretches as follows: from Saeed bin Tahnoon intersection towards the new bridges heading out of Abu Dhabi; streets leading up to ADNEC to Shaikh Suroor Bridge heading into Abu Dhabi; from Al Noor Hospital roundabout towards Khaleej Al Arabi street; and from Shaikh Rashid bin Saeed Street towards ADNEC.
The Traffic and Patrols Directorate called upon motorists to find alternative routes, adhere to traffic instructions and regulations, to exercise caution, and reduce speeds to avoid traffic accidents.
