Sheikh Abdullah said the UAE would be prepared to support a Palestinian government that met the hopes and aspirations of the Palestinian people
Director of vehicle licensing at the RTA Mohammad Abdul Kareem Nimaat said in a press release that the auction, to be held on May 25, would offer up about 100 plates. Members of the public would have to register ahead of time, and hand over a Dh10,000 security cheque, with the excess of any winning bid to be paid at a later date.
Plates on offer will be between three and five digits, with codes including “F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M and N”, Nimaat said.
People can register at the Deira and Bur Dubai licensing centres, unified service centre “Attuwar Municipality”, as well as through RTA’s website www.rta.ae.
