Dubai: The Dubai Tram services will be disrupted today, with normal services resuming tomorrow (Wednesday, March 25). The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed that services will be disrupted due to a full-day system test that has been planned by the authority, which will affect the Jumeirah Beach Residence and the Marina Loop services for the entire day. The maintenance work will also affect the operation time for the tram service.
Issuing a statement on Twitter, RTA said: "In order to improve the Dubai Tram services, a full-day system test is planned for Tuesday, March 24." The JBR and the Marina Loop Service will not be available for the entire day.
Passengers going to Station 1 (Jumeirah Beach Residence 1) please alight at Station 5 (Dubai Marina) and take another tram on the opposite platform to go back to the JBR and the Marina area. Also, tram headways will vary between a minimum of six minutes to a maximum of 10 minutes during the day. However, services will resume on March 25.
