Distinctive number plates on offer
The Licensing Agency of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) intends to offer a new package of 100 distinctive plate numbers within the (M,N,L,K,J,I,H,G,F) categories.
This will take place at the agency’s 21st electronic auction that will be organised on July 16 and lasts for three days upon the request of the public.
Director of Vehicle Licensing at RTA Licensing Agency, Mohammed Abdul-Kareem Nimaat, noted that: “such e-auctions tremendously contribute towards materialising positive and tangible interaction among the various segments of the society which motivates us to organise these auctions due to their continuous success particularly as they offer distinctive three, four and five digit plate numbers.”
Registration in the auction will open on July 9 and will continue for one week while the auction itself will begin on July 16, Abdul-Kareem Nimaat said. He pointed out that the mechanism of participation is through the authority’s website: www.rta.ae or by visiting one of the customer service centres in Dubai. Participants have to deposit Dh5,000 which will be refunded if the person does not get his required number.— news@khaleejtimes.com
