Organizers of the tournament, managed by IMG and presented by FLASH Entertainment, are inviting everyone from younger children to adults to show their support in full colour by wearing the national colours of their favourite player or their home nation to celebrate the start of the global tennis season in Abu Dhabi.

Adding to the electric atmosphere of the tournament’s opening day, ‘Show Your National Colours’ is expected to capture the imagination of the fans bringing the centre-court stadium alive with colour during an irresistible line-up of all-star matches that sees rising Cypriot star Marcos Baghdatis battle against Czech pride Tomas Berdych, and Sweden’s hero Robin Soderling takes on flamboyant Frenchman Jo-Wilfred Tsonga.

For those die-hard fans of world number one and reigning champion Rafael Nadal or all-time men’s Grand Slam singles titles leader, Roger Federer, Spanish or Swiss colours are a must on Day One with both players signing autographs and meeting fans in the Tennis Village at the International Tennis Complex, Zayed Sports City.

With free face painting taking place in the new and improved ‘Tennis Village’, everyone attending has the chance to enjoy the championship spirit and the opportunity to win a trip for two to experience a dream trip to the 2011 Wimbledon Championships including three nights stay, tickets for two days of the matches.

The three most colourful, memorable and creative costumes will be selected from the crowds and awarded a qualifying spot on the centre court following the second match between Robin Soderling and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. The final three winning contestants will then be invited to take part in an on-court challenge with the lucky winner being awarded the grand prize, a trip for two to experience a dream trip to the 2011 Wimbledon Championships during the first week and two round trip airfares from Abu Dhabi to London, all to be presented by the winner of Tsonga and Soderling match.
