Mahra defeated Habtoor 7-5 during the second day's action in the Polo Masters Cup held at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club.
The Al Habtoor's brothers match, Mohammed patron of Habtoor Polo and Rashid patron of Mahra, was very exciting.
Habtoor made a better start taking the lead by 2 goals to 1 at the end of the first chukka but Mahra had a quick reaction in the following chukka to turn the scoreboard in their favour.
From the third chukka onwards team led by Alejandro Novillo Astrada, with Daniel Gariador playing at a great level, achieved a two goal gap that, despite Habtoor efforts, was the clue for the final result in their favour.
The tournament will continue with Bin Drai playing against Edrees from 4.30 pm at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club today.
