ABU DHABI — Chairman of the Emirates Equestrian Federation Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, declared his support to Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, wife of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, for re-election as President of the Federation Equestrian International (FEI) for the second time in a row.

Rami claims Wathba Stud Farm Cup

DUBAI — Four-year-old Rami, trained by Jean Francois Bernard and owned by Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and Minister of Presidential Affairs, won the 2010-11 season’s inaugural race for the Wathba Stud Farm Cup in Avenches, Switzerland on Saturday.
