It was an all-Dubai partnership as Hello Youmzain went on to land the Group 1 Betfair Sprint Cup Stakes at Haydock Park in the UK on Saturday afternoon.
Hello Youmzain, the mount of Godolphin's retained jockey James Doyle and owned by Dubai businessman Jaber Abdullah, won the race, part of the British Champions Series.
The three-year-old colt from Kodiac, triumphed over last year's winner The Tin Man by half a length in the contest run over six furlongs at the Haydock Racecourse.
"That was good," Doyle told the Racing Post.
"I've had a few near misses lately in a few of the big ones so it was nice to get one over the line," he added.
And Doyle heaped praise on trainer Kevin Ryan.
"Full credit to Kevin and his team, this lad hasn't been entirely straightforward but the engine always been there and the team have done a great job to manage that and channel it in the right direction. It's great to ride a top-flight winner for Kevin as well," said Doyle, who won the Group 1 King's Stand Stakes and the Group 1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot on the now retired Blue Point.
It was Hello Youmzain's fourth victory in seven starts and Ryan promised more to come.
"These horses don't come around very often. He's such a young horse and a big horse as well. You shouldn't wish your life away, but he's going to mature and he'll be a stronger horse next year. He's very exciting," said Ryan.
