Dubai - The British ace plans on moving to Dubai with his family
British boxing champion Amir Khan has probably lost count of the number of times he has visited Dubai. Dubai has been his favourite holiday destination over the past 15 years, so much so that he calls the city his second home.
And as he plans on making it his first - Khan and his family are keen to shift to Dubai over the next few months - Khan and his better half Faryal Makhdoom soaked in the bright sunshine and took in the sights in one of the safest cities in the world.
And the timing couldn't have been more apt. It was Faryal's birthday on Monday and Khan threw a birthday party on a yacht.
A day before her birthday, Khan had said on Instagram, with an image of the couple: "Happy birthday to my queen @faryalmakhdoom love you baby Doing a big celebration for her in dubai."
Faryal also posted a picture of herself from the yacht, with the Dubai skyline and another image of the couple together.
"Happy birthday to me. Thank you for all the love and wishes," she wrote.
The pair had celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary on May 31.
Khan, a father of two daughters - Lamaisah and Alayna and four-month son Mohammed, also spent some time relaxing at Jumeirah Al Naseem.
Following a visit to the Dubai Sports Council on Tuesday, to discuss his future projects, including plans to open a boxing academy here, Khan enjoyed a night out.
"Night out. It's been a while," he posted on Instagram.
