It takes the right attitude for a woman to feel like a princess, but the right set of outfits can make her feel like a queen.
Festive season is a time when she can specially shine the brightest. Designer-entrepreneur Suchita Pandey has embarked on a journey to do just that with her Stylista brand. She has managed to carve a niche in aesthetically brilliant ethnic designs. She fuses contemporary design, eye-catching embellishments and fashionable styles into a traditional base, giving life to fabric, with movement and harmony of colour. Her brand is being worn with pride on all occasions.
"I come from a state in India where art runs in our DNA. Rajasthani women are very creative and that manifests in their work."
As a child, Suchita was inclined towards art and creativity. "I am fortunate to have parents who helped me follow and develop my career, goals and passion."
Each outfit, featuring its own charm and vividness hues, is carefully crafted to strike a fine balance between the magical craftsmanship of the East and the inspiring future-ready trends of the West.
"When I am at peace, alone and relaxed, ideas and images start coming to my mind, which I immediately pen down in an artistic form."
Her collections include sarees, lehengas and anarkalis, as well as delicate and flowing shararas. The Stylista outfits are designed to celebrate beautiful forms, each tailored to celebrate femininity, while maintaining a class of dominance akin to the women of today.
"Each dress of mine has a personal touch of love and passion attached to it, which is very much appreciated by my clients," she said.
Suchita, who discovered fashion design through her passion for drawing and dance, embarked on a journey to create contemporary pieces that would not just turn heads, but also make its wearer feel like royalty.
"They wear my dresses with pride and confidence," she added.
Through Stylista, Suchita sponsors the kids of workers so that when they grow up they have the chance to pursue their dreams.Â
