An alert salesman in China is being hailed a hero after he caught a little girl falling from a 2-storeyed building.
A CCTV footage of the incident which happened on 15 May in a market in China's Chongqing is doing rounds on the internet and shows the unidentified salesman saving the girl's life.
The dramatic video was shared on Facebook and Twitter by People's Daily, China, and shows the man sitting at his desk in his shop and talking on the phone.
The man suddenly panics after he notices something in front of his shop and hurriedly runs outside. Another CCTV camera supposedly from outside the shop shows him standing under a building and looking up with his hands raised as if waiting to catch something. That is when more people gather on the street and soon a child is seen dropping from the building right into his arms.
The girl seems unhurt in the accident. It is not clear how the girl fell from the building but probably she seemed to hanging for a while before she fell down.
The video has garnered attention of several people who praised the salesman for his kind act and bravery. One Facebook user wrote: 'You are a hero', while another wrote: 'Unbelievable, awesome', according to NDTV reports.
