A woman died after being hit by lightning during a thunderstorm in Makkah on Wednesday.
The 38-year-old Saudi national had been in No'man valley when the incident happened, as per Erem news report.
Her husband called the authorities to inform them that his wife had been struck by lightning and passed away.
He transported her to the hospital for medical examination.
The police opened a case file to investigate the circumstances of her death and rule out unnatural causes.
