Rapper Nicki Minaj has rubbed a lot of her fans the wrong way by posting a video of an old woman in Miami, supposed to be mentally ill.
In the clip, posted on her Instagram page, she can be heard making fun of the unknown woman who tries to walk away appearing angry and disheveled.
Several comments on the video claim that the women in the video is well-known in South Beach and she is mentally ill.
According to celebrity news site TMZ.com, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI-Miami) said, 'the clip is an invasion of the woman's privacy, which dehumanises her.'

A representative for NAMI told TMZ , "Nobody would make fun of a cancer patient, and mental illness is an illness like any other."
The video is causing a lot of fury online, with some calling her 'heartless' and 'immature'.
One fan commented:

"You're completely stupid, rude, and uneducated for shaming this woman @nickiminaj and now that you know this woman is ill, you should take it down. Period. Use your fame for something positive and inspiring instead of bringing others down. #noclass"

While another defended her and said,

"I don't see anything wrong with her post. It looks like Nicki is laughing at the fact that she's offering the lady help and the lady is cursing her out!"

Minaj is yet to respond to these claims.
