In a statement, the NCM said that visibility could be less than 1,000 metres at times over some coastal and internal areas of the country. Motorists are advised to be cautious as visibility may be reduced due to mist or fog formation.

Sharing today's weather report, the NCM said: "The weather forecast for today is fair to partly cloudy over some eastern areas with light to moderate winds in general."

The maximum temperature during the day is expected to hover around 40 - 46 °C along internal areas. In Dubai, temperatures are forecast to reach highs of 43°C with lows of 30°C. Abu Dhabi will have highs of 43°C and lows of 29°C, while in Sharjah the temperature is expected to reach up to 41°C with lows of 28°C.
The maximum humidity would be 70 to 90 per cent across coastal areas, 65 to 85 per cent in interior regions and between 40 to 70 per cent in the mountains.
The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
