The Dubai International Airport (DXB) has closed its forecourt area for arrivals at Terminal 3 (T3) for people coming to pick their friends and loved ones.
The airport asked people to use the arrivals car park or valet services when coming to T3 to receive their guests and families.
“At DXB, we are always working towards improving customer experience. From today, our arrivals forecourt area at T3 will be for authorised vehicles only.
"If you are coming to DXB to collect arriving friends or family, use the main arrivals car park or VIP valet service,” Dubai International said in a tweet on Tuesday.
In addition, Dubai International also announced the arrival of a new Bangladeshi airline, as the global aviation industry slowly and steadily recovers from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The privately-owned Dhaka-based US-Bangla Airlines has started daily flights between the Bangladeshi capital city of Dhaka and Dubai, operating Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a 164-seat capacity.
