The new academic status was approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in recognition of the college’s diverse programmes. Emirates Aviation University reflects the range of programmes the institution is offering, including undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
“Emirates Aviation College was already functioning as a university with its wide range of programmes and high rigour of education in multiple disciplines,” said Dr Ahmad Al Ali, Vice-Chancellor of Emirates Aviation University. “This new title will enable us to expand our international reach and meet the changing needs of the aviation and education industries at a time when the demand for both is expanding.”
