If you are flying out of Dubai this weekend, here's some useful information for you.

Dubai-based Emirates warned of heavy passenger traffic at airports over the weekend, especially Friday, March 29, and advised passengers to arrive early.
"Almost 71,000 passengers will pass through Terminal 3 today. Emirates urges customers to factor in extra time for their journeys and arrive at the airport three hours before departure to allow sufficient time to pass through airport security," the airline said.

Peak travel is expected to continue until Tuesday, April 2, with more than 205,000 Emirates passengers travelling from Dubai to destinations beyond. During this time, Emirates will also be welcoming more than 160,000 passengers to and through Dubai.

With road works continuing to cause delays around main airport highways and roads during this time, the airline has urged customers to build in extra time for their journeys to avoid potential delays.

Customers who check in less than 60 minutes prior to their scheduled flight departure will not be accepted for travel.
