SNTTA win Liberty honours
SNTTA Travels, Dubai beat Budget Rent A Car, Dubai in the title round for the Liberty Group Cricket Championship at the Insportz Club here on Friday,
SNTTA, playing first scored 64 runs in their allotted eight overs with Sai scoring 12 and Biju adding nine runs.
Abu Boshar from Budget Rent A Car took three wickets.
While chasing Budget Rent A Car managed only 33 runs in eight overs. Sai took 2 wickets for SNTTA.
The event was held under the patronage of Shaikh Khalid bin Abdul Aziz Al Qasimi, chairman, Liberty Group.
A total of 15 teams participated from the Liberty Group and around 300 spectators encouraged the players during the event from morning till evening.
Musharraf Hossain, group director, Liberty Investment Co, Dubai and Amitava Majumder, group general nanager - Finance and Administration, Liberty Investment Co, Dubai, presented the awards and prizes.
