Batting first Our Own Warqaa’ were in all sorts before Raghunath played a captain’s knock scoring 27 off 26 balls to pull his team out of trouble. Contributions from Akshay (14) and Hemant (11) ensured that Our Own - Warqaa’ reached 115 in 23.4 overs. With the ball Ishaan Vasant, Baburaj and Mehdi Raza did the most damage, each picking up two wickets.

Our Own Sharjah too started off on a shaky note, losing three early wickets. There was more trouble as they needed 50 runs with four wickets in hand. But Hammad

Ahmed changed the face of the game. He played a fine innings of 30 off 26 balls, as he signed off in style smashing a six over mid wicket in the final over. He was rightfully adjudged the player of the match. Elsewhere, DPS Sharjah did the unthinkable as they displayed character to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat against Indian High School Dubai in the under-13 category. DPS – Sharjah batting first put on a defendable total of 113 in 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Sparsh Hegde made 24 off 24 balls and was well supported by Krutik Patels 23 off 22 balls.
