The main objective of the company — Synergy Sports — will be to promote sports at the grassroot level here, launch team officials told reporters in Deira.

“Synergy Sports offers various sports activities with adherence to the highest standards of excellence and aspirations of the country and all its residents,” said Pablo Varona, senior consultant, Synergy Sports.

“We would like to contribute in nation-building and we saw sports as a field where we can play a major part. We promote grassroots sport development by holding events where UAE residents can enhance their skills in sports whilst at the same time develop strong camaraderie and bond among them,” said Varona at the inauguration of Synergy Sports office at Makateb Building in Port Saeed, Deira.

Synergy Sports organises various leagues and tournaments such as the Dubai Community Basketball League, Filipino Basketball League, inter-hotel and inter-company tournaments, corporate sports events, inter-school and inter-collegiate cups, sports clinics, and more to bring together people of all ages and backgrounds to stay fit and have fun in the name of sports. Varona added: “Synergy Sports develops strategic partnerships with various companies and promotes corporate social responsibility. We also provide a unique platform for companies to bring their brands directly to the public at the grassroots level through sports.
