Casari lands Rivoli Medal
Sergio Casari won the Al Badia Golf Club Rivoli Monthly Medal with an impressive net 69 score. A packed field hit the course, not deterred by the soaring temperature reaching over 100 degrees fahrenheit.
The heat did not affect scores though as we saw yet again another very competitive monthly medal.
Casari’s solid and consistent round saw off the challenge from Paul Barbone who just missed out on the prize on the countback.
The best gross score of the day came from Carl Downham who finished only four over par with a 76. The on course prizes went to Andre Pringos for being closest to the pin on the 7th hole and Tony Billingham for the longest drive at hole 12.
