Shah Rukh Khan’s run-ins with the US immigration officials (not for the first time!), not only shows the insensitivity of that country’s policy towards tourists with Muslim names, but also a reluctance to shrug off their post-9/11phobia!

News that he would be 
a recipient of a citation by 
the famous Yale University should have been widely publicised by the media, to prevent that slip-up.

A lapse by the superstar after being harassed the last time during a promo for his “My Name is Khan”, should have caused him to make advance preparations, by sending his agent to clear that hurdle!

Or, maybe, his best defence against those officials would have been to quote those famous lines from his movie: 
“My Name is Khan, and I am 
not a terrorist!”
