Dubai government's campaign' against smoking is laudable. Appointing teams of under-cover agents who will catch and fine those who try to flout the rules and smoke in non-designated areas, is laudable.
Smoking is hazardous to health. Smokers not only put their lives in danger but also pose a grave threat to non-smokers by puffing in public places. The government's efforts will be fruitful and the menace can be curbed if people adhere to rules and regulations, and are aware of leading a healthy lifestyle.
