A 40-year-old woman, riding pillion on a two-wheeler, was crushed to death by a speeding private bus.
The incident was captured on a CCTV camera the bus fled the spot. The lady hit a pothole during the heavy rains in Kalyan in Thane district on Saturday and came under the bus.
She was rushed to the hospital was declared dead on arrival. A case was registered against the bus driver for reckless driving. The locals filled the potholes with debris on Sunday.
