It was choc-a-block, literally, on a street in Germany after a tonne of chocolate seeped out from a failed storage tank of a factory.
Residents in the town of Westönnen, 25 miles west of Dortmund, found an entire street covered in delicious chocolate flowing out from the DreiMeister factory on Monday night, reported The Independent.
The 'sweet problem' even worsened after the thick chocolate spread on the street solidified due to cold weather conditions.

Over 25 fire brigade dealt with the massive chocolate spill using shovels to extract chunks of chocolate off the street. They also used hot water and blow torches to remove chocolate that had settled in cracks and gaps in the road, before power-hosing the remaining mess.
According to local newspaper, a 'small technical problem' caused a delivery tank to overflow, sending a vast quantity of molten chocolate cascading down the middle of a road in the town of Werl, reported Independent.
Firefighters warned that "there is a risk it will be slippery" due to the fat content even after the chocolate was removed from the street. While, employees from the factory provided boxes into which the solidified chocolate chunks were put in.
While, the chocolate factory owner, Markus Luckey said, "If the chocolate had been wasted nearer Christmas that would have been a disaster," adding that the spillage had not affected the company's profits.
