It gives me immense pleasure and satisfaction upon reaching the glorious milestone of 20th anniversary of FMC Network UAE and to be a part of it.
I thank my entire team behind this successful dedicated journey. We also thank the Rulers of this country for the appreciable move towards mandatory health insurance coverage, thus rendering access to quality healthcare for all nationals and expatriates in cases of emergency, curative and preventive healthcare needs.
We will continue to maintain the highest quality standards of service in delivering comprehensive healthcare to the entire UAE with full compliance and ensure that health coverage serves members without compromising our vision, mission and values.
As of now, FMC receives around 150,000 medical claims per month. By evaluating these claims, we are able to understand how important human health is and the need of our support to them. Many times, we have noticed how much the compulsory insurance benefitted the social life of our community. For many cases that required intensive care associated with surgical remedy, the cost varies between Dh100,000 to Dh200,000. Being in the UAE for a long time, the compulsory insurance had really given a breakthrough, especially for the economically weaker sector who are not able to withstand that kind of expense. I am very happy that FMC has taken an initiative as a pioneer in these schemes and our administrative exposure has helped a lot.
On this auspicious occasion of our 20th anniversary, we are not only celebrating our success, but also the inner value to provide medical service to the needy.
Without losing our motto - We Take Care Of You - we continue our journey of delivering quality service to people.
