Both expatriate and nationals can participate in the challenge by submitting an e-business plan that will be judged by selected industry leaders."
"The objective of the e-biz challenge is to identify and recognise the future talent, e-entrepreneurs of tomorrow in the process linking e-innovative business ideas to national resources. This provides an excellent opportunity for professional networking and potential career opportunities," he said, stressing the challenge would help build bridges between academia and industry.
Explaining further the challenge objectives, Dr Abdullah Abonamah, Director of ITI, said: "The competition aims to intellectually bridge the gap between academia and the industry, encouraging students to develop their skills and ideas by enabling them to get better suited for today's technology driven market."
