UAE Armed Forces Chief of Staff visits troops in Yemen

Aden - Lt. General Al Rumaithi conveyed the regards of the leadership to the troops stationed in Aden and Mukalla

Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, on Tuesday, paid an inspection visit to the UAE forces participating in the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to support the legitimacy in Yemen.
Accompanied by a group of senior army officers, Lt. General Al Rumaithi conveyed the regards of the leadership to the troops stationed in Aden and Mukalla and their wishes for success in their mission. He also attended the official inauguration of the airport of Aden and the airport of Riyan in Hadhramaut.
The UAE, in co-operation with the Yemeni government, made tremendous efforts to rehabilitate these airports. Yemeni government officials appreciated the efforts being made by the UAE in rehabilitating the services sectors, including transport, in Yemen.
